OUR HISTORY
Portswood Pallets was founded in the early 1990s by the Harris family. It all began with Alan Harris, who started the business in a small shed in a field with just two employees. Thanks to Alan’s passion, initiative, and hard work, the company quickly outgrew its humble beginnings. Alan’s other brother, Biff, and their sister, Denise, soon joined the business. Together, with their determination and the support of a dedicated team, the siblings turned Portswood Pallets into a well-established, respected, family-run company that they could all take pride in.
We’re excited to announce that the business has now been purchased by Tony Mitcheson, who is committed to carrying on Alan Harris’s legacy and the ‘Keep Running’ spirit that built the company
